There is a repeat of a previous sitcom what I wrote called Think The Unthinkable - starring Marcus Brigstocke, David Mitchell and Catherine Shepherd. Series 2 in on BBC7 at the mo. Listen to an ep here.
Hut 33 is the third radio sitcom by James Cary. The first was Think the Unthinkable, starring Marcus Brigstocke, David Mitchell and Catherine Shepherd. It won a Silver Sony Award, and ran for four series. (Series 1 is currently available on CD and download) The second sitcom was The Pits - starring John Oliver, Paul Willcox, Phil Cornwell and Lucy Montgomery. He also created the sketch show, Concrete Cow, (also available on CD) and helped devise and scripted edit three series of Recorded for Training Purposes. He did all of the above alongside producer, Adam Bromley.
He has also co-written Radio 4's Another Case of Milton Jones - with Milton Jones (also available on CD)- and Radio 2's Miranda Hart's Joke Shop (again...) - with, unsurprisingly, Miranda Hart. This will soon be appearing on BBC2.
For television, James Cary has written for My Family, My Hero and Shaun the Sheep. He has recently been script editing a sketch show for CBeebies starring Justin Fletcher.
He lives in Fulham with his wife and two daughers. He loves cricket, 30 Rock and The Bible.
